A museum restaurant is probably the last place anyone will think of getting their meals. Ranked #13 on TripAdvisor, I thought I would just pay Graze a visit. I tried their graze plate which comprises buttermilk fried chicken and pita bread as well as the crab salad. On the one hand, the crab meat was cold and was probably made from frozen packs. On the other hand, the buttermilk fried chicken was hard as rock. I have to give up. In conclusion, if you were using TripAdvisor as your food guide, you might probably want to think twice.
Although the food is amazing and beautifully plated, it is somewhat expensive. The location itself pretty practical and not only by the bay, but also the Opera House. Perfect for any given hour.
Ordered the crushed almonds and lemon crusted mahi mahi on pearl cous cous for lunch. Although the mahi itself was slightly overlooked - the flavours of this dish really made it come to life! The beautiful tomato base of the pearl cous cous was delightful and really danced on the palette with the crunchy roasted crust of the fish. Would definitely come back for this dish next time!
It’s a fabulous spot on Sydney’s harbour ... this usually results in high pricing and not always food to match. Graze however is reasonably priced, excellent wait staff and truly delicious food. As always!
