Celebrated the end of a client engagement with breakfast at the Grand Duk with my senior. Usually only ordered coffee at this place before heading back upstairs, but we had time to spare on a Friday morning today! Service was average, nothing amazing, got seated after waiting a while without being served, but that's fine.

What Jacky Cummerata doesn't like about Grand Duk:
the caffe is beautiful and it has beautiful outside seats. the personal was also friendly. but I must say the meat lover omelet I ordered was the worst omelette I had for a very long time. the omelette was very heavy on cheese. I don't know what kind of thing it was, but it smelled and tasty. the omelette was quite large. the duck on the serviette was sweet. coffee was good. simply do not order the omelette. There was a lot of chicken in the healthy bowl, and it was filling. There's plenty of room to sit outside. It's also a good place for a healthy business lunch. I visit this cafe/buffet restaurant multiple times a week. Most of the time it is my default place to go to as I work in Circular Quay Always a safe option as well. Lunch box choose your own is 2 sides and a main for $15.50 Very generous portions There are consistent options everyday if you are like me and enjoy eating the same thing everyday. Each day they will also mix and match with different in house made options Consistent options include, salad, rice, fries, chicken schnitzel, pulled pork Varying options can include: spaghetti, pasta, grilled spiced chicken and more the meal below is Chicken Schnitzel, garlic and herb smashed potatoes with aromatic jasmine rice. delicious!! Carbs.
Pastries are heated up and end up soggy. Just horrible
