We hadn't tried this restaurant for several years, but six of us enjoyed a banquet dinner - and found it even better than we remembered. The strength of the restaurant is it's wide range of Asian dishes. It serves quality Chinese, Malaysian and Thai dishes and these can be mixed if you select a banquet. It's not easy to please six people, but there were no complaints from our group. What Lily Swift dislikes about Sesame's:
Food was just OK Service was poor. Even though restaurant was only half full given a table only one foot from another couple. Would not return as better restaurants close by in The Junction. View all feedback.

We joined friends for lunch. Haven't been to the hotel for about 18mths however it has always been a delightful place to eat and still is, both the food and the staff. I also happened to renew my hotel membership. I recommend the Junction Hotel to everyone!
Cosy and intimate setting, perfect for a get together or a special occasion. Staff are polite, courteous and professional. Menu is wide and varied and delicious. Special mention goes to Anthony and Tony for being great hosts and looking after us!
Our Mother's Day breakfast was delicious. I had the french toast with lemon curd, the others had chilli crab scramble (with a kick) and breakfast curry (with fresh roti). The service was friendly and attentive moving our table from outside due to the chilly morning to a lovely high sofa table near the water feature and under the skylight. Well done Junction Hotel. Breakfast tick.
There was a function as well as normal lunch service so the place was full . Service was friendly helpful and quick . I thought the meals would come out slow but I was pleasantly surprised . The food was great quality and quick . Great stuff .I'll be back.

I'll preface this saying that if you want to try Sesame's, do so on Sunday nightThe Sunday Night Chef is amazing.

The service was excellent; the staff friendly and helpful; and the cost particularly reasonable. The restaurant is relatively small, but this is part of its appeal. We recommend this one - and we will return.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night with my husband. This restaurant provides a nice casual atmosphere. Even though it was not a busy night the service was a bit slow, not sure if this was due to numerous take-away orders, and our waiter/server was not overly friendly. However, the menu offered an extensive choice of South East Asian cuisine - Thai, Malaysian, Chinese - which made it hard to decide. We started with a shared entree of Chicken Satay skewers, a bit spicier than what we have tasted at other Asian restaurants, but none the less thoroughly enjoyable. Our mains were a combination omelette and a seafood laksa. Recommend both these dishes for flavour and portion size. We have been here on previous occasions when it was crowded and it can get quite noisy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for tasty Asian at a reasonable price.
