What John Brown doesn't like about Taco Cabana:
I remember Taco Cabana for the fresh made to order food that was truly remarkable. Today, rice was extremely old; fajitas were not seasoned, and I could go on forever. View all feedback.
Walked in for a quick take out meal. I ordered the double crunch pizza and a 3pk of chicken flauta. I was super disappointed that their salsa bar wasn 't set up. The food was hot and surprisingly delicious. The whole restaurant felt like you 'd imagine a place near going out of business would feel. It was quiet, almost too clean, and completely empty. Overall though, the food was good quality and the service was quick. EDIT: placed a curbside order through the app and arrived to pick it up, circled the building twice and found no signs indicating a curbside pick up or check in area. I parked in a parking space in front of the front door and waited several minutes past my curbside pick up time and finally walked inside to see my order sitting on the counter getting cold. Taco cabana needs to get this feature right, they are behind the competition.
The young lady clocking in was told that it would be just her as one of the employees had an emergency. She was posed yet afraid as she went about the task of flawlessly preparing my order while taking another customer’s order in a most professional way. It was quite impressive for her first time to be trusted with the responsibility of the task. I would like to acknowledge her knack for the task as a customer service representative in the industry! Jo Jo! You did great!
While the tacos are good, they take too long to make them. Seriously you'll be here for an hour or more.
Love the food. They still need bodies, but the food is still awesome. Today they made a major booboo. Street taco tortillas are heated. These were unheated and breaking apart. They felt like they never made it to the griddle.
Store was clean, the food was great and plentiful. Everyone was super nice and very professional. Best Taco Cabana ever, and I've been to a few at other cities, too.
