Red Hook Cajun Seafood (jackson)

We went during the week at lunch time. Great atmosphere, very friendly service. We had the sampler, boudin balls and steamed shrimp. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The catfish was flaky and seasoned correctly. The steamed shrimp delicious! We will definitely be back!

The service and employees are always so welcoming and friendly! I?m personally not a fan of seafood, but my boyfriend gives it a 10/10 as far flavor and said the crab legs are amazing! Our server Doe Jane was friendly and speedy and tended to all our needs! She was the bomb :

We celebrated my daughter's 12th birthday. Our server was very sweet. We got the whole birthday song with cheesecake complimentary! The ticket was pricy with a 18% gratuity for 6... only 1 adult.. The atmosphere was great.. music on point and a very diverse staff. Everyone was cool. Did I say the food was so so so good.. cause it was!

We waited for at least 10-15 minutes just to have a waitress greet us. The wait for our food was ridiculous, and then my fries were cold. I told the waitress that they were cold. She took them and it took probably 10 minutes to get back the fries that were beyond overcooked. They were awful, and I couldn?t eat them. The waitress never came back and we finally asked the janitor if someone could give us our ticket. My husband ordered chicken strips and he said they were terrible. She refused to come back to our table. What a waste of time and money. When we were paying for our food, she was so rude and wouldn?t even look at us. Don?t waste your time. I will be sharing this terrible review with anyone who asks for a place to eat.

It was my Birthday, and my beautiful daughters took me too Red Hook. I love it so much. I enjoyed alot.
