Yummy!!! We ordered a #1 with mashed potatoes and gravy, extra sides of green beans and mac n cheese. All of them were excellent! We also had boneless tenders with buffalo sauce they were cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend as the best fried chicken I've ever had! View all feedback.

Had to wait a while for someone at the drive thru to answer. The girl who was working the drive through was extremely rude and didn’t let us finish ordering before saying “pull around” I absolutely will not be back here. View all feedback.
The chicken sandwich, yuck, old, meat so thin, you could almost see thru it. No public restrooms, sign on the door.
To me, way better than Popeyes and kfc. Veronica does a good job with a smile everytime! Will return!
Wow! Thats alot of good food! Loved the c hicken dinner with mac and cheese. The pasta salad and potato wedges were also good.
My first time.to.visit. Love the food best food I have had in long time. KFC and Popeyes back home can't touch umphys food ....the desserts were awesome too. Homeade.. Best ever!! I will be back
If you're in search of outstanding soul food, this is the place to be! They have the best fried chicken in Jackson, and don't even get me started on the cinnamon rolls! I usually go for breakfast because their biscuits are absolutely delicious.
