We went to the special dinner for Christmas Eve. The Prix Fixe menu was interesting and varied. There were 4 of us. Most opted for red snapper in a polblano sauce. It was absolutely delicious. There was on dark mole tenderloin, cooked as requested and also delicious. The salads were complex and huge. Lobster/crab bisque was good, but not as outrageously good as the other courses. What Venkat S doesn't like about Maize:
Food was mediocre for an upscale place such as this. Asked for the heater next to our patio table to be turned on, it was not operational. Seemed like the restaurant was not quite prepared for NYE service. Wait staff were awesome. View all feedback.

Best appetizer, baked oysters, Excellent flavor and balance and the presentation was beautiful. Chocolate mousse cake outstanding, bread pudding OK and rum raisin ice cream also tasty finished off the four courses. We'll be back
Maize has quickly become my favorite restaurant. It's where I can find authentic Mexican food that reminds me so much of my family's cooking back in Mexico. The staff is accommodating and will guide you if it's your first time eating in a proper Mexican restaurant.
Hidden gem off of Memorial and Dairy Ashford. A culinary experience you will not forget but in a casual atmosphere. All fresh made creations are delicious and even gluten free which does not compromise the flavors. The cocktails are also incredible. Amazing Chef behind the scenes and you see and taste every detail of your dish!A must stop don’t miss it before it’s too hard to get a table.
