Hubby works near here and his coworkers always eat here. Brought me home some leftovers and everything I tasted including the curds was good. Will go back again. View all feedback.
What Ash Lovejoy doesn't like about Hangar Kitchen:
First timer, I work near by so I decided to give it a try. They did not have the minestrone soup available upon ordering, fortunately managed to get the pesto pasta with add on. The Salmon was absolutely delicious. 10/10.I was the only person inside and received my togo food at reasonable time. Love the food. I love how the restaurant is all aviation related. My top place for lunch!
Pass the napkins... best burger I've had in months. Not sure if they charged for Xtra pickles but bang bro $17 otd for a burger lunch is too much period. Ax fo yo receipt. Great little joint, great staff too.
Still one of the best non Mexican restaurants in the vicinity of Hobby Airport. Don't be put off by the un impressive exterior and parking lot. The inside has a very nice aviation theme. The Good: Although some changes were made to the menu, since my pre COVID visits, there are still good hamburgers and sandwiches. In fact, I think that their burgers and fries have gotten better even though there are fewer choices. I like the thick beef patty and it had a perfect sear on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside. In addition to sandwiches the menu includes salads and entrees like pastas, steak and salmon. There are also vegetarian options. Hanger also has a full bar in the evenings. The service was friendly and helpful. The Bad: They no longer have beer on tap, but they do have a very good selection of local craft beers and wines. On one recent Thursday, I arrived at 11:30 and even though they post an opening time of 11:00 they were closed and there were no employees in sight. On another occasion, I arrived after the lunch rush and the tables had not been bussed and cleaned. Good to see that the Hangar is still open and I hope they overcome their rough edges.
So this restaurant closes at 3 o'clock, Maria, who is an awesome server, and the Kirk, made sure that we were fed, and the food was outstanding. Some of the best burgers we have ever eaten. I suggested that you run don't walk and visit the hanger kitchen. Be mindful they close at 3 o'clock.
