So originally, we wanted to go to King's beerhaus for Simpsons trivia night. Come to find out, everyone who's going reserved a table, we thought it was first come, first serve, like most places are. So instead of standing around for nothing. We decided to come here. It wasn't our first choice, but I think it was our better choice. Our server was amazing with all of her recommendations. Absolutely delicious food! The... View all feedback.
What Champlalo doesn't like about Dak Bop:
Not the same sauces as before very disappointed of the change, the spicy is not spicy anymore their signature sriracha sauce is not the same color or flavor I got honey wings instead. The chicken is good but the sauces look a taste the same. View all feedback.
Chicken wings were delicious! We got the Sriracha honey lime and soy garlic, I'm a big fan of the soy garlic. Wings were so crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside ???? all of the pork belly dishes we got were so good!! Pork belly buns were good, pork belly in the bowl literally melted in my mouth! Seoul fries were definitely different and tasted pretty good. The contrast in taste between the kim chi, egg yolk, and braised pork was different. The BloodyMary was not my favorite and I wouldn't recommend it. I was expecting something more exciting and tasty, but it was the one thing that disappointed. The dishes we got were definitely heavy so I wouldn't be going here every day ???? but I'ddefinitely go back.
Crispy and juicy but not oil fried wing were delicious. Definitely worth getting again. Dak and bop was tasty. The bread was outstanding. Great service and a laid back vibe inside. A few nice murals outside of what used to be an old Pizza Hut, from the look of the structure. Full bar available for those who partake. Will come back and try other stuff for sure, and get more wings!
Another Fantastic dinner tonight. This spot really has some amazing bites. Service was On Point as well thanks to AJ. Be sure to check them out. Shared a nice meal with some friends, unfortunately I missed some photos as we were so hungry! All items are available on the menu though!! Charred Wedge Salad was a nice touch, subtle smoke to the leaves, the dressing was a perfect blend of flavors, and the bacon thick and flavorful. The Brussels were a huge hit with the wholetable. Perfect cook and char to them. The perfect doneness and dressing. The garlic herb butter bread (not pictured) went fast!! French Dip Bao (normally a full sandwich on the menu) was a perfect bite. The bun soft and fluffy, the steaktender and flavorful, the au jus made with love and time. The Chicken was a mix of strips, wings and drum sticks (normally served separately) and 4 of their 7 signature sauces. As always super crispy, exceptionally juicy and flavorfulsauces. The Brick Toast got me though. I'm not a sweets person, I never order sweets. But this was perfect. The thick slice of milk bread cut into squares and each toasted on all sides. Topped with caramel and whipped cream was a perfectlevel of sweetness. A mix between French toast and creme brulee in a way. Cocktails were delightful, all day Happy Hour on Monday with $5 drinks. Well done Chef, we'll done.
Dak and Pop is the greatest fried chicken place in the history of the world. The chicken is so juicy and crispy, it 's like it 's been kissed by the gods. The flavors are so complex and delicious, it 's like you 're transported to another dimension. I 've never had anything like it before. This place changed my life. I used to be a sad, lonely person. But after I had my first taste of Dak and Pop, I was transformed. I became happy, outgoing, and confident. I even met the love of my life here.I am so grateful to Dak and Pop for changing my life. I would offer my firstborn child to them to help around in the kitchen as a sign of my gratitude. But I don 't have any children yet. So I guess I 'll just have to keep coming back for more fried chicken. If you 're ever in the mood for the best fried chicken you 'll ever eat, go to Dak and Pop. You won 't regret it.
The wings and fried chicken are some of the best you can buy in town, and in Texas. Easily one of my favorite places to get wings period. The fried chicken was incredible as well. Had a kimchi rice bowl with pork belly that was so good during my last visit. I'll be back soon. Don't forget the lavender lemonade.
