The BEST. Everyone was extremely polite/friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, from the Fata to the Awaze Tibs. There was not one dish I didn't like. 5 star service, 100% recommend!

Plan on waiting for the food a bit as this is an authentic Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant and the food is fresh. The Injera is made fresh daily, salads and meat were all deliciously and delicately spiced/flavored. Definitely a favorite restaurant! The restaurant is clean and the staff/owners are friendly and helpful.

We love Ethiopian food, but live in a city without any Ethiopian restaurants. As such, when we travel, we seek out Ethiopian restaurants. We feel so blessed to find this wonderful place. Tadese (spelling? was absolutely fabulous. In addition to amazing awaze tibs and injera, she served us some great coffee. It truly felt like dining at an Ethiopian friends house. On a scale of 0 to 10, this place is an 11. We also have a “drive scale”, and this would be in our highest category…would drive over an hour to go here.

The awaze tibs were the best I've ever eaten! The meat was tender, and the spices were just right! The service was amazing, very friendly and attentive. In fact, I felt like I was eating at a friend's place. I feel blessed to have found this gem and will return anytime I'm in Houston!
