Stopped for lunch at this lovely little cafe after seeing it on Trip Advisor, we were not disappointed. Our lunch of fish and chips and steak burger with chips was superb, the best lunch we have had in a long time. Both meals came with creamy coleslaw and freshly made salad, our plates were cleared and we promised ourselves that a return visit was to be scheduled. We also purchased some lovely postcards featuring pho... View all feedback.
We stopped in for some coffee tea to stretch our legs during our drive from the Isle of Skye to Inverness. The service was fantastic, washrooms were clean, there was a great variety on the menu. Some sweet little gift items baked goods to choose from as well.
This is a lovely location, worth stopping for at least getting a bag of goodies to lure the hairy coos over for a photo op. But if you 're hungry, stay for the fantastic food as well. We had a steak burger and the Highland beef chili, both perfect for the chilly and rainy day and being locally sourced, was high quality and flavorful. We ordered a scone and toffee muffin for takeaway and later enjoyed the homemade treats. Delicious! We arrived here on a rainy day when there were flood alerts around Scotland. The owners asked about peoples ' travel plans and checked out any road closures and gave great advice about the best routes to take for safety. Also, since we fed the Highland cows after we ate, the owner suggested we come back in afterwards to wash our hands, which was a nice offer. We were made to feel at home and welcome in this little treasure of a place.
Friendly people, good coffee, and...cow food so you can visit and feed the adorable highland cows across the street.
Best chips of my life! Little cafe on the way from Eilean Donan Castle to Glencoe. Food is freshly made I had a chicken burger and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Lovely couple running the place. Highly recommended
We stopped her for bunch before our drive to the glenfinnan viaduct, really nice food and pleasant atmosphere. They have the Highland coo's in the field over the road which you can buy pellets for and feed them to, they are very slobbery but very gentle animals.
