Brunch with the crew, they accommodated 16 of us. Reservations are highly recommended and go early. The food is well prepared. $25 for unlimited mimosas per person.
The restaurant always has a great atmosphere and the food is consistently excellent.
Went here for my bday brunch. It was pretty tasty! The vibes were great, and we loved the decor and artwork. There was only 1 girl working as host and server, though. It was not her fault. She was great. Hope she gets some brunchtime help more often!
The food was fantastic when we visited on a weekday during happy hour for dinner. It was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Shrimp Grits. The music was enjoyable and the prices were affordable.
This is one of the most unique spaces I've ever been to in the Bronx and a must for any certified hip hop head. I love the aesthetic and elements in the restaurant that give it a very classic New York feel. There's also a ton of cleverly labeled items on the menu with homages to classic albums and artists. If you're in the BX, be sure to check it out.

Place was great. The Mac and cheese was amazing. They definitely made the birthday celebration worth while.
Beatstro is an ABSOLUTE MUST for a Saturday brunch. Once you past the curtain, you are ushered into HIP HOP happiness. Beautifully tastefully decorated. The sweetest hostest ever greets and seats you. Elizabeth is the best waitress ever. The sangria and nutshell set the tone. I've had deviled eggs before but I swear these are THE BEST EVER!!! JOSEFINA is a fried ball filled with succulent pork and rice and beans. Delicious Shrimp and grits with an out of this world sauce. And the fried chicken? Wow!! My steak and eggs......with the chimichuura.....scrumptous!!! And I still had room for dessert....try the banana pudding and red velvet cheesecake. I enjoyed everything!!!!! And they played the greatest hits possible. Great time all around. Can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and meet me at BEATSTRO.
I enjoyed the music, vibes, food and drinks. It was a great way to end 2023 with my sister in law.

Such a fun time!!!Vibe is amazing and the food is just as great. Prices aren’t bad either. Try the sangria. We ordered a pitcher for the table and we all enjoyed.Beware if you sit in the back area it gets LOUD, but if the drinks are flowing and you’re ready to have a good time, it’s so much fun!!!
Party of 14 coming in for a brunch, scheduled for a 1:30pm reservation. The restaurant is amicable for accommodating the large party, at a late time, because our group did struggle to get in on time. We got fully sat at 2:15 with the waitress taking our orders to ensure a timely appointment. The restaurant is not full at this time. We place the orders and we assume the orders will be accurate due to the volume at the present moment. The expeditor does not know what temperature the meats are at and just gives the entrees as is. While giving the food out, I noticed I am the last one without food, and I was the first one to make the reservation, despite everyone else late. What I had asked, was to pack up my entrée and take it to go, because every one else was eating and I had not gotten my plate yet and I had eating my share from the appetizers. I had noticed my to-go box smaller in portion of what the in-house entree had. I guess less steak for someone who takes it to-go. I did not question it and took it. I do not appreciate having the employment having rush my group to come in, when they cannot accurately take an order, when it’s not that busy. It’s fully staffed and ready to take on full service but I question the validity of the staff to accommodate such large parties. Do not come in here with large parties, despite this place having nice aesthetics, the Look of the place does make the place actually good to have a good time.
My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Beatstro for dinner, while vacationing in the Bronx for a New York Yankees game. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the baked salmon with mashed potatoes. The decor is unique, real hip and interesting. We also ordered drinks, which were quite tasty with a kick. We ate well for a reasonable price.I recommend giving Beatstro a visit, the next time you’re visiting the Bronx.
The food and location are superb! I especially love the live DJ and restaurant decor.
The place is very nice, I went on a Saturday night with my husband at 11pm and it wasn’t pack the music was very loud for the place not being packed which made it difficult for the staff to hear us and vice versas. We order three different appetizers; mofonguitos, coconut shrimp and chicharrón de pollo. The coconut shrimp tasted the best out of all three. The mofonguitos tasted like it had too much tomato sauce and the chicharrón de pollo was not boneless despite us ordering boneless twice, both times we got the chicken it had bones. For the entree we ordered the lobster Mac n cheese which had good flavor but did not have a lot of lobster. We order three drinks; w finding nemo and the Virgo. All the drinks were very strong, the taste of alcohol was over powering. Over all it was not a bad experience just had some minor discrepancies.

Music and service were excellent. eating was good, but the reason for the 3 stars is because of the drinks. I would have ordered $14 juice cocktails as well. this bomb sangria didn't even give me a shimmer. I guess I had to sit there and order 10 of them. I would go back, but definitiw order a neat drink from now on. only one other complaining would be the music is too loud. I'm sitting two feet from my wife and we had to talk. dinner is also a time to connect for people and to meet for new friends. please turn off the music a little. I'm back.
Eating was ok for most party, although limited brunch options our party all got the bun and waffeln. berries on waffles were not good. also had the deviled eier appetizer, which was strange because the above it with. service was not so great, had a long wait for a drink.
My table was expecting a lit experience but was constantly reminded that we had 90 minutes for the brunch. From the time we walked into the restaurant by the hostess, two waitresses and the hostess again. It was constantly brought up. This provide a level of anxiety when trying to enjoy the food. None of members of my party finished the food and left before 90 minutes was up. The menu was limited Mimosa bland and pre-made
Food was good for brunch just more options for the chicken but it was tasty and good
