We went to this cafe for afternoon tea to celebrate my 60th Birthday were a party of 9. We did not all arrive together the manageress was not happy about this. A couple of ladies in our group had not been well so...we weren't sure that they would come. The woman was decidedly put out by this we felt that she was very rude. Many thanks for the milkcake of my sohnes. the decoration was phenomenal and he was above the moon. Delicious moist chocolate cake, it was loved by all who had one piece, and those who had the second helped! please don't think you can only have the afternoon of here, their birthday cakes are really from this world. you have made a young man to the day of the lockdown and will surely come back to future holiday cakes. customer service as always was great.
What a nice afternoon here with friends for a pre-booked creamtee. the quality of the food was not the same and everything is made home. as enough to eat with groundless tea and coffee pots. confirmation of white or brown brot on arrival...and the sandwiches were made fresh. definitiw not prepared in advance. the service was great with love to detail and can't recommend this enough. now put it on their to-do list.
We have been to some places for the afternoon and I appreciate these from the best locally by far. there is a good choice of sandwiches, and the scoone and cake are beautiful.
We had an amazing afternoon tea accompanied by excellent service. The decor, with its artistic options, was lovely and we would definitely consider purchasing some items.
