We do come here now and again because of the prices and service. Always recommend this place.

Unfortunately,... read more I have visited many times for lunch as they do a good deal at £5 for starter and main. The staff are friendly and the food portions are generous. Unfortunately, it takes an age to get your dinner and myself and several of my colleagues have stopped visiting as it takes too long to get food if you're in a rush. I won't be returning unless I have plenty of time unfortunately as my lunch still hadn't arrived and I had to go back to work. The more senior staff dealt with the complaint maturely although the younger one didn't inform me there would be a wait and claimed after 55 minutes I'd only been waiting 20 minutes.

I had French onion soup with French bread and scampi, chips and salad with lemon and all the dressings! The staff check back to see if everything is alright! The service was great and the food hot and delicious! I would certainly recommend this place!

We were surprised to learn that Luke had just started that day, but he made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better.

I can say they have been absolutely brilliant observing the complex restrictions and keeping everyone safe . I work as a clinician and spend my day in ppe trying to protect others and myself , so was important to me then when I go out I felt safe . Despite the added pressure of restrictions staff have remained attentive, considerate and polite . Well done Cramptons

During our lunch visit, all necessary Covid restrictions were in place, including table service only. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, we were attended to promptly and our drinks were brought to our table quickly. The two-course meal option is now priced at £6, up from the previous £5, but still represents excellent value. We ordered a burger and chips (£5.95) and a prawn marie rose jacket potato (£5.45), both of which came with a side salad. The hardworking and pleasant staff deserve commendation for their efforts. Well done!

I enjoyed French onion soup with French bread, as well as scampi, chips, and salad with all the dressings. The staff made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the overall experience was excellent. It was nice to sit outside in the back as well. I would definitely recommend this place!
