This cafe is conveniently located near the Kopu Bridge, making it a perfect stop for travelers. There's ample parking, and the interior is surprisingly spacious. The menu features a delicious selection of kiwi-style dishes, and the staff are incredibly friendly. One of the standout features is the two electric vehicle charging stations situated to the left of the cafe, which is a great perk for EV drivers. This helps you avoid the long wait at the only other charging station (ChargeNet) behind the Thames Library, where you can only charge one car at a time, despite having two outlets. Additionally, the cafe shares space with a Bendon outlet, Hauraki Hunting and Fishing, and Franklin Vets. I’ve definitely found my new favorite rest stop!

We stopped for just 10 minutes on our way to Cathedral Cove and were pleased to find it wasn’t very busy, so we waited less than 5 minutes for our coffee. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of seating options inside, as well as a few outdoor tables. The food looked delicious and fresh, and there’s a wide variety of drink options available. Definitely worth a stop!
