The Girls' Coffee Bar - Thagoona

Not for the first time, when an order has been either misinterpretted or misread, have I been presented with a latte after ordering a cappuccino only to be told it is exactly the same once a little chocolate sprinkle is added.This tells me one of three things:1. The barista is hopeless.2. The business is cash strapped to hell.3. Both of the above.Can I respectfully suggest that, in order to preserve the integrity of this business, the owners invest in some advanced training for the barista or a course in honesty. Either would elevate this pretty ordinary experience.

Been here a couple of time as it's only about a fifteen minute drive from home. Conveniently located just off the Warrego Highway. A good variety of meals ranging from sandwiches up to mains with the usual steak, etc. Prices are quite reasonable and the staff friendly and courteous. Service is quick too. Also a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Recommended.

Ordered a takeaway hamburger with the works ($14.90) - A bit pricey but tasty. Also ordered one serve of hot chips ($4.50) plus a can of drink. There were only 11 chips averaging approx 60cm each wrapped in the paper. These chips would only 1/3 fill a standard takeaway cup of chips. At 40cents+ a chip, I won't be ordering from there again.

Its a great little place. COFFEE EXCELLENT. Food was a delight in the country. Great scones whoever made them. My mum makes the best BUT they were up there lol. It was great to just stop and smell the roses.
