After exploring the town and surrounding area for a while, we decided to stop for a drink and a dessert at the castle coffee shop. As it was nearing closing time, many items were already sold out. Fortunately, we were still able to enjoy some hot and cold drinks along with some affordable cakes. It was a lovely way to end a long day. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sudeley Castle Coffee Shop:
We enjoy visiting Sudeley Castle, but the café's quality has declined compared to previous years. The limited options and dry sandwich with minimal filling, along with unfriendly service, are not worth the high price of £5. It's better to bring your own lunch instead of eating here. Very limited sandwich choice....cheese and tweeble or thunfish, of which I eat, very expensive to £ 6.50 per and very few on camp. coffee was terrible.
An okay cafe. Nothing amazing and nothing terrible. Pleasant staff, but after inviting us in they didn’t tell us that it wasn’t table service so took us a while to realise we had to go to the counter to order. A shame it was paper/plastic...cups still.
Only a limited amount of pre made snacks. sandwiches, scones and cream, crisps and soft drinks. Hand as a stop off when out walking. Will close down when castle closes for the end of season.
Small but adequate cafe with somewhat limited fare, but acceptable for a light lunch/snack. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Right next to the car park, shop and entrance which is handy for meeting up with people. (And a loo in the shop).
The hot sausage rool was very meaty and herby which worked ok. The coffee however was so bad I genuinely thought it was starbucks. It is ghastly. The cafe also has an odd habit of creaking whenever anyone enters it due to it being raised...off the ground by about 6 inches or so. It might be good for tea fans but coffee afficianadaos.........avoid.
