Papa John's Pizza - Tewkesbury

Pizza was so delicious and my family enjoyed it. We didn't wait for long time and payed with 50% discount. Good service and tasty...

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect, which seems to happen almost every time I order from here. The person I spoke to on the phone did not communicate all the necessary information to the chefs, and did not seem to be familiar with all the pizza toppings on the menu. On top of that, I was overcharged. Thankfully, Papa John's has a policy for fixing mistakes, which I appreciate. In the future, I will definitely avoid ordering from this place. Even though there is another store closer to my house, I chose this one because when they do get it right, the pizzas are really good. However, I think I will try the other store next time as I am tired of waiting for them to make another pizza.

The pizzas are okay, they certainly are not bad pizza. It's just there are much better pizza places in the area. The toppings never seem to taste as fresh as others.

My partner has ordered from Papa John's several times and always speaks highly of it. Unfortunately, my first experience was not as good. We ordered two cheese and tomato pizzas online and received a 33% discount, which was a nice bonus. The delivery was quick, but when we opened the boxes, the pizzas looked unimpressive. There was not enough cheese on them. I managed to eat two slices, as I have a small appetite. My partner was unhappy with the taste and lack of cheese. We had to file a claim online and then call the store to get it resolved. They apologized and sent out two new pizzas, picking up the old ones. The new pizzas were completely different, covered in delicious cheese. It's strange how they could be so different. We will order from them again because of the convenient location, but if the pizzas are disappointing like they were the first time, we won't be returning. I guess that's the risk of ordering from a chain restaurant.

We usually get pizzas from Roadrunners or from Domino's. Papa John's opened and as we'd had them before, we thought we'd give them a go. The pizzas were nice but about the same quality as you might get at Pizza Hut. Not enough sauce for our liking. Nothing bad but nothing great either. I think we'll stick with Domino's.
