Today’s special was a burger and chips for £4. They could have given me a rustlers burger and frozen chips for that price but they went way above and beyond. The burger was a very generous size (unfortunately the photo doesn’t quite show) and the homemade chips were cooked perfectly! On top of that, the service was great. I wish I could give a positive review on this place as I was told good things about it. However upon arrival, I was told to get a seat I had to “stand up shake bum” according to one of the staff who then proceeded to aggressively grab my body parts. Popped in for a quick drink. Toilets abysmal staff not at all interested in knowing.
Was trying to eat my meal when the dog who looked friendly at first tried to put me on a lead and then continued to take me on a walk with no way home
Husband had lovely pie. I had jacket potato which was hard only tepid. No checkback staff not friendly. Also only had 1 zero alcohol choice
Family birthday great place to visit and a great Sunday dinner
