I had a problem with the meal I had ordered and the waitress and manager didn't pause in replacing my dinner with good grace. The welcome is warm (even in a crowded restaurant in the run up to Christmas) the attention is prompt and the whole place, as a result, has a great buzz!

I ordered the pie, which was hot but lacking in filling. The vegetables were also lukewarm, leading me to believe they had been sitting out while the pie was being cooked. The waitress offered to bring me hotter vegetables, but by the time they arrived, the pie would have gone cold. The prices charged at this restaurant should warrant hot food, but unfortunately, that was not the case during my visit.

That said, the food was tasty, served quickly and the place was busy. What was also surprising was that it closed early (10pm) on a week night. People were being turned away; disappointing for the potential customers and missed opportunity to stay open and obtain more business.
