The food was of good qualit... read more I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and was pleased to find that it was sausage week at the pub, in addition to their regular menu. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and our waitress was knowledgeable about the selection of real ales available, which is a rare find these days. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The staff at the bar were friendly and helpful in seating us at a table of our choice. The restaurant had a nice fire going which added to the cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. We enjoyed our main meals and desserts, which were tasty and piping hot. The desserts were particularly delicious. The napkins were made of cotton, a nice touch compared to the usual paper napkins. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The car park was spacious as well. Highly recommend.

Add super, home cooked food from local suppliers and it is a winner. Well worth a visit for a drink, food or both
