Tastebuds @ Hills - TERREY HILLS

Highly recommend stopping by Tastebuds. I have been enjoying meals at this restaurant since they first opened. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The food is consistently delectable. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable.

Come in for a coffee and a bite to eat. They sit me down at a table walk off. I sit there and watch as they welcome more people sit them down and take there order whilst im sitting there atill waiting to be served.

I met a friend at this restaurant for a coffee catch-up and we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was plenty of outdoor seating for some fresh air during these uncertain times. We enjoyed the coffee and muffin deal, which was good value. The coffee was great and we had a lovely time catching up. It was also nice to wander through the flower markets afterwards. There was plenty of parking available as well.

I am a fairly regular customer of Taste Buds but was disgustd by the meal served to me this morning. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon on toast. The scrambled eggs were so overcooked they were rubbery. The bacon was cooked but cold. The toast was one slice of mediocre sourdough bread served ON TOP of everything else. Usually with a dish like this I would expect pepper and salt on the table. There was none. Thankfully the coffee was OK. For the price, this was a disgustingly poor meal. It was poorly cooked and the presentation was awful. I know fom experience that Taste Buds is much better than this but they blotted their reputation a lot today.

The service was excellent, but the new style of chips was greasy and not well-received. Customers preferred the old ones. The veggie burger was bland, the chicken burger was okay but nothing special, and the coffee was good. The seating was pleasant and the table service was efficient.
