Tiger Shaved Ice - Terrell
Tiger Shaved Ice
Description
In the heart of Terrell, this drive‑through treat spot shines with homemade syrups, endless flavor combinations, picnic seating and a popular app for smooth ordering — a community staple for families and hot Texas days. Praise centers on friendly, owner-run service and quick curbside convenience, but experiences vary: some guests report slow or curt staff, weak flavor at the cup’s bottom, refusals to add extra syrup, and a refusal to serve oversized trucks and trailers. Overall, loyal locals applaud its charm and versatility, though consistency and some policies can frustrate patrons.

I didn't get the chance to try it out because of my oversized truck and trailer. Since we don't live in the area—it's a six-hour drive for us—we thought we would give it a shot. However, we were informed that they only serve customers in regular vehicles, and at the time, there weren't any other patrons around to accommodate a quick order.
The service here is extremely slow, and the staff doesn't seem very friendly. They appear indifferent to their work, and I'm sure the owners wouldn't be pleased with the level of effort they're putting in.
The food lacked flavor. Once you reach the bottom of the cup, it's just ice with no taste. I asked if I could have more flavor added, but they refused. I definitely won't be returning. This place feels unprofessional.
The ice was good but the customer service was very bad. I'm pregnant and asked the guy for pickle juice on mine and he was like you should've been asked. You'll have to order another one. I don't sell it like that. It's not that he couldn't sell it it's the way he said it and his attitude the whole ordering process. This was my first and last time visiting.
