La Cage Aux Sports - Terrebonne

We waited for two hours and received no service, so we decided to leave. They made no effort to apologize for the delay. It's their loss.

This was my first restaurant visit in Montreal during my trip. The service was efficient and pleasant. The ribs were delicious, especially when paired with the BBQ sauce with Montreal spice. However, I was disappointed with the salad as it was wilted and had brown ends, something that should have been noticed and addressed. Despite this issue, I acknowledge that mistakes can happen and I should have requested a replacement. Overall, the experience was better than average.

Popped by for lunch with group of 9 during hockey tournament. Nice cold beer in chilled glasses. Standard sports bar fare, with some hits (wings, fish and chips, French onion soup) and some misses (panini not warm, bruschetta light on the cheese).

I generally dislike Cage au Sports in Quebec for their lackluster beer selection and below average pub food.
