Nice atmosphere, great food, nice music. Owner Mario and his friendly staff are always eager to serve you! Try the regular size burrito, a meal in itself. Choose your own ingriedents at the serving line mmmmm! Discount with student ID. View all feedback.
What Glenna Franecki doesn't like about Chava’s Mexican Grill:
WAY overpriced !! I bought a taco salad and some chips and it was almost $22 dollars without a drink.. and some of the workers are unprofessional!! The food is as good as Mexican gets and definitely not worth what they are charging now. View all feedback.
They have delicious loaded steak burrito that i was very impressed with. It was almost as good as the best burrito I've ever eaten, which was in Vallejo, California. I recommend trying this place if you haven't. They do it subway style so you can build your own burrito if you want to. That's only the thing I recommend because its what i always get. I'm told everything on the menu is good, so if burritos aren't your style but fast Mexican food that didn't come out of the microwave is, then Chavas is the place.

Got 2 burrtitos and some kid nachos tonight. IT IS THE BEST place to get Burritos in terre haute, filling and delicious. Friendly staff and awesome service

I am talking about Vincennes. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, but the owner needs a new publicist. The Mexican restaurant across the street is packed, and there are never any customers at Cheva's. He needs a massive promotion campaign to get people in the restaurant so they would understand it's a much larger, nicer place. The food is better the service is good, but no one does anything to promote this restaurant. Many of my friends have never even heard of it. If he had the right publicist to get this place going, he could make a success of it. I don't know if he wants the losses for a write off, or if he would really like to make it a success. I would be happy to help him make a go of this place if he wanted a good publicist.
