My husband where I could bite. I really want to satisfy the employees. They were very friendly, various employees stopped at our table to see if we needed something further. We have a retail store and are proud of our employees. You should be proud and recognize your staff for their excellent service. View all feedback.
What J W doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
Just skip it! Stopped by today for a veggie baked potato for lunch. Asked for no onions and please substitute cheddar Jack for the processed cheese dip on the menu. Total with 10% AARP discount was almost $10. Of course I questioned the total. The woman who rang me up was the manager, so I guess price gouging is allowed and encouraged. I walked out. I recommend skipping this place! I stopped by today for a veggie baked potato for lunch and requested no onions, asking to substitute cheddar Jack for the processed cheese dip listed on the menu. After applying a 10% AARP discount, my total came to nearly $10. Naturally, I questioned the price. The cashier happened to be the manager, which made me wonder if overcharging is actually encouraged here. I ended up walking out because I didn't want to spend $10 on a baked potato—especially since they're usually cold and stale. I often have to send them back for a fresh one. Be sure to keep an eye on the prices and check your receipt!
So you're looking at a 12 French dip double meat, double cheese with a side of Mac and cheese. I want to give the food a 5* but all of the meals I've had. The food has a certain blandness, still really good. Just bland...honestly it's probably more of a 3* on the food...it's just ok, but everyone I know loves it, which leads me back to the blandness. There's no real dynamic taste to any of the sandwiches ...one of the reasons I believe it draws in a lot of people. The sweet tea and lemonade are fantastic, some of the best in town and the staff is super friendly every time I'm there...overall I really enjoy McAllister's Deli.
This place is always amazing, I eat here at least once a month if not more, and I'm truly addicted! Angus spud is absolutely delicious ?
I spent over $15 on a sandwich and drink, and the sandwich was incredibly disappointing. It had barely two tablespoons of chicken in Frank's Red Sauce, one slice of tomato, and half a slice of bacon on some ciabatta bread. A Subway sandwich would have tasted much better and cost less, too. This place is a far cry from Mekalister’s from just a few years back. I will definitely not be returning to this so-called "restaurant." It feels like nothing less than a total rip-off.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and the staff were warm and friendly. The food was excellent as well. They truly serve the best tea I've ever had!
