A rude woman, who I can only assume was the owner, informe... read more I visited this place for a lovely Sunday dinner, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. A rude woman, who I can only assume was the owner, informed us that the kitchen was closed for the day, even though it was only 12 o'clock. She didn’t even bother to check what they had available and seemed eager to rush us out. To make matters worse, the coffee was terrible and burnt. I would definitely prefer to go somewhere else in Tenterfield for coffee and a meal.

It's the best battered fish we've ever had—made right there on the spot, thin and crispy! For our dining experience, we went during lunch. The price per person is quite reasonable, ranging from $1 to $20. I highly recommend the fish and fries, as well as the garden salad.
