What Myriam Shanahan doesn't like about Chai Thai:
Unfortunately I hated the Prawns Soup. Smels bad, taste like soap. I ordered a coconut prawn, and came cold and greasy. What saved is only the prawns and mushrooms in the soup. The delivery came very fast. That's it! View all feedback. What Natalie Krüger likes about Chai Thai:
We ordered green chicken curry and chilli basil chicken stir fry. Both were lovely and full of flavour. The take away arrived promptly and it was hot on arrival. I would definitely order from here again. View all feedback.

read moreChai Thai, located in New Farm, has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have praised the delicious food, quick delivery, and friendly service, while others have been disappointed by the taste and quality of dishes. The prawns and mushrooms in the soup were highlighted as delicious, but the coconut prawn was found to be cold and greasy. Some diners have had issues with contacting the restaurant for takeaway orders, while others have enjoyed the generous portions and flavors of the dishes. Overall, Chai Thai seems to be hit or miss, with some customers loving the authentic Thai street food experience and others feeling let down by the food quality. The restaurant is small and busy with delivery drivers, making it less ideal for a romantic meal, but great for a quick and affordable bite to eat.
