What Stevee17 likes about The Potato Shack:
We always visit when in town , good home cooked food at reasonable prices. We like to take a wine with us which is lovely. The spelling mistakes on menu are funny too , kids loved that game. We did ask what mammals pie was exactly? It is of course mammas pie, very tasty too , not to be confused with squirrels, bunnies etc. Enjoy. View all feedback. What Stevee17 doesn't like about The Potato Shack:
We have been here before and had a very good meal, last time was average so for us its somewhere in between. The main reason we had to wait quite a while for our food, when it came the food was fine. They do some specials, treats etc probably the biggest drawback no loos of its own so you have to pop to public toilets just few minutes away but a bit of a pain with kids. Service friendly, omelettes, baked spuds, salad... View all feedback.

read moreNestled in Walton on the Naze, this quaint café delights visitors with its inviting atmosphere and extensive, homemade menu. Diners can savor scrumptious options, from perfectly cooked omelettes to hearty roast dinners. While the café’s small size lends it charm, the lack of on-site restrooms can be inconvenient for families. Service is generally friendly, though there have been mixed experiences. Many appreciate the generous portions and great value, particularly for their Sunday roasts. Overall, this hidden gem is perfect for a cozy meal or a quick snack, promising quality and warmth that keeps guests returning for more.
