The owners of the pub are welcoming. The menu may be small, but it offers unique options. All eight of us were pleased with our choices. The food quality is top-notch and the beer selection is well-maintained. Two members of our group are Camra members. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. This village pub is one of the few remaining authentic ones. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Bricklayers Arms:
This restaurant is terrible, with even worse management. I was charged £80 to park, which is ridiculous. The management is pathetic, and the customer service is terrible. View all feedback.
We have booked in advance, and large display of tables was on the neighboring village green area next to the pub. menu, cutlery etc. was delivered in Co-Vid friendly sealed containers. service was excellent, even for the pub enjoying increase of customer numbers...Result from the sunny day in which we participated. the food was great as the drinks available. if you want an unpretentious place that offers great food/drinks with a personal service, then I recommend this facility.
We called in late after travelling back from Norway, tired and hungry! Tipping down with rain and had lengthy detour. We didnt think they would serve us food but obliged , made us so welcome, the owners son was so funny so good to be...home! Great meal and British beer! It was 2019 but couldnt put that.
New to the area, received recommendation to try the Sunday Lunch, OMG it was truly delicious. Interior is very dated, but the quality of the food and service was outstanding, with local produce used in the dishes. Highly recommended, we will certainly be returning soon.
Went here with the family on the government eat out to help out scheme. Excellent place , great Landlord and Lady and fantastic good honest food. Good value for money and serves a decent IPA Highly recommend a visit we will certainly be returning.
Very friendly hosts and locals. Food was beyond exceptional, well presented, we both had fish which was freshly cooked and the batter melted in your mouth. Real ale is available and was well kept. Highly recommended little pub, thank you for everything.
