More options added since my last visit to the area, including sausage with or without batter, tofu kebab and cheeseburger. The man I spoke to said all the vegan options were cooked separately. We tried the banana blossom fish and chips tofu kebabs. Both really nice, especially the chips, and very large portions. View all feedback.
What Susan P doesn't like about Pier One:
We bought cod and chips to take away for 6 people and most of it got thrown away. Fish was ok but the chips were the worst. Reheated, re-fried, both who knows. What I do know is they were terrible. Will not be going there again that's for sure. View all feedback.
Great fish and chips. Daughter had ribs and chips. Both very tasty. Staff excellent service . Will definitely go back again
We popped in , we’re seated straight away and we’re given the tap water I desperately needed. Service was quick, choice was plentiful with specials on the board. I chose the tuna steak which was a special and was served two delicious grilled steaks along with a salad with balsamic glaze and fries. My partner had skate with capers and chips. I’ve never seen capers so big. We were very happy with our meals and service and having eaten at lunch time, did not need another meal later.
Such a lovely place! Great service, friendly staff and loved the fish chips! Although it was super busy when we visited, we didn’t wait long for our orders to arrive and the owner is very attentive! We will definitely return!
What a great lunch today 2 seafood platters wine, beers and whitebait. Ps Kieran thanks for looking after us this afternoon it was great.
Had not booked, but mid afternoon they had space. Had a great choice of gluten free dishes and even fed our dog. The food was excellent and plentiful. 2 starters, 4 mains, 2 puds and drinks. £115. Staff we’re really helpful and engaging. The other customers were friendly too. A great day out.
