Situated at Harwich Quay over looking the harbour . This snack bar is their in all weathers , their tea and coffee always boiling hot , the smell of sausages , bacon and onions even makes this vegetarian hungry . In the summer months the adjoining Ice cream van sells the very best whippy ice cream and 99's the specials include fresh strawberry Sundaes .

While waiting for our seal trip to start, we were feeling a bit hungry, so we decided to try a cheese sausage bun. The staff was lovely and the bun was nicely cooked. It was fresh and not greasy at all, much better than the cafe on the pier. The prices were reasonable, although the soft drinks were a bit expensive. Overall, the delicious food outweighed the slightly higher drink prices. We will definitely be stopping by for a burger next time we are in the area.

We discovered Jacks 8 months ago and have since become regular customers. Our go-to order is always the bacon roll, which comes with a choice of French stick or soft sub roll (we always choose the latter). The smoked bacon is superb and the fried onions are a delicious revelation. Additional toppings like egg, sausage, and mushrooms are only 20p each. The best part is that a bacon egg roll and a tea is less than five pounds! The flavor of the rolls is unbelievable, never too salty like in many other places we've tried.

Delicious, delicious.... Incredibly delicious. Paul Co has been running this restaurant for a long time (how old is he, for goodness sake, haha). The food is top-notch, the staff are great, and the prices are fair. Simply put.... The Best Of British.
