Since Geos has been taken over it has gone down hill. Batter wasn’t crispy and chips were horrible. Not the same since it has been took over. We are here for a week and won’t be coming back to Geos View all feedback.
I have been going to Geos for the past decade and have never been let down. The prices are fair, the fish is consistently fresh and hot, and the service is top-notch. The restaurant is usually busy, so there may be a short wait to get a table, but it's definitely worth it.
We dined in at the restaurant and waited approximately 15 minutes for our order of a large portion of cod and chips, served with bread and butter and teas. The wait was worth it as the freshly fried fish and chips were deliciously crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch fish and chips. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is fast and friendly.
Discovered this charming little gem during a day trip. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were polite and attentive. The cod, chips, and mushy peas were delicious. The restaurant was clean and tidy.
Slim pickings for quality fish and chips in Clacton I'm afraid. We hunted this one down based on reviews and sadly it was average.
Local caught wing of skate, my special treat. Cooked to perfection with amazing crispy batter. Chips were Proper . Sat at restaurant area at back. Server and cooks were cheerful and friendly, A real seaside treat.
