Salty's - Tenby

Disappointed to find they had removed vegan option of tofu skewers although still showing on website. They have vegetable curry and vegan burger but I selected tomato and olive salad which contained only lettuce, peppers tomatoes and olives, in no way worth the £15 price tag.

Having grown up in Pembrokeshire, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find restaurants that offer more than just a microwave vegetable lasagna! This place has a nice selection of clearly labeled vegetarian and vegan options on their menu, making it a great spot for mixed groups of omnivores and herbivores. I tried the vegan Tofu Skewers, and the portion was generous! The tofu was cooked to perfection, and the dish had a wonderful balance of rice, vegetables, and tofu. While Salty's is a bit on the pricier side, it’s still comparable to most restaurants in Tenby. Plus, it's located right by the beach, featuring a lovely indoor and outdoor seating area. If I'm not mistaken, Salty's is relatively new and replaces the previous bar and grill that used to be here. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

The staff seemed completely disorganized. I had clearly ordered a vegan meal, but was served shrimp that looked questionable, so I fortunately decided to ask about it.
