A beautiful old pub. Food was delicious and the clearly new-to-the-job waitress was as helpful as she could be. Service was a bit slow for us, but perhaps ok for others. Sadly the bolt on the Ladies toilet was broken, which wasn't good and yet should be easy to replace. View all feedback.
Very warm welcome, fabulous food and great service. Visited for a birthday lunch for mom and it was well worth it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
I visited The Talbot Inn for the first time on 22nd October where my brother held the reception for his wedding. Excellent, attentive staff. Beautiful decor. The food was absolutely wonderful. I also stayed there for the night. My room was really lovely. I really cannot recommend The Talbot Inn enough! Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

Fabulous meal! Just what we wanted relaxed quality time and beautifully cooked food. Chicken liver parfait is the best I have tasted and chutney perfect that goes with it. Duck was really tasty and hubby had fish which he really enjoyed. Finished it all off with sticky toffee pudding and panacotta, we couldn't fault a thing!
We stayed as a stop over before heading home to Shropshire and I honestly cannot fault it! The room was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing bathroom I've seen in a hotel/inn. We also had a three course meal which was spectacular. The staff are so friendly and accommodating which is obviously a massive plus. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night away.
