Lovely food and fantastic service. Special phrase for the guy who checked us in. My phone wouldn't allow me to open my covid cert. We has kids so he showed us to our table allowed me to log on to WiFi before coming back to check it. It was much appreciated. Sometimes giving someone a few minutes is all it takes. Love meal here last week to celebrate a 60th. Great food and a suberb waitress in Tara. She was quick, professional and funny. She was just great. My fish and chips was just scrummy.
Not a bad spot, food is reasonable, prices are ok too. Parking is on street. It is a bit dark inside, but it's not a problem. I had veg soup (which was very nice) with a Caesar salad and chips. Portion size was very big. Staff are chatty and friendly, it tends to get busier in the evenings with families coming in for food. I will certainly return.
We were served by the Magnificent Lola, a superstar! I had the ribeye steakpictured and my good lady had the burger! I had a bite of the burger and it was so good. My steak came on a board with onions, mushrooms chips, salad and pepper sauce! Absolutely perfection. Delicious! I thought it was reasonable for €30 odd euro! Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend!

1st time ever here because we had a voucher. The staff very friendly and helpful. Food came out well presented and hot and very large portions. 2nd time was today, for my 60th birthday, It was exactly the same as our 1st visit, staff were busy, but still friendly and nothing was too much trouble, Food was excellent again, large portions of well presented quality food, for a reasonable price, Definitely recommend, and will return again soon

Really enjoyable experience. Food was lovely and the staff were great as always. I had the sliders on my most recent visit and they were very tasty.
The food was exceptional and the table service was outstanding. Sean, our waiter, was very attentive. Francis manages a fantastic restaurant and bar.
Restaurant was clean and decor was nice. Soup was very watery, bread seemed like yesterday's, not crunchy/fresh. Main dinner, Lamb, lacked flavour, mash potatoes were horrible, not proper mash, too much veg, not alot of lamb, 1 roast potatoe, didn't need to be there ! Just lacked passion to be honest, a simple, safe dinner. Total €21 ! Left feeling unsatisfied
I was there years ago while on training and was d place to go for dinner.... What happened???? Staff rude.. Heated up food...... Bar staff so rude and unpredictable well all I say is I've never been treated like this and let you make up your own mind... Apart from that food not up to scratch....
We booked it on recommendation from our Air Bnb host and it was great! Really good pub grub, very generous portions for really reasonable prices. We got a mountain of food and all 6 of my group loved it. Our waitress was so lovely too, she even went to the trouble of going to the shop to get berries just cause one of the girls had mentioned she wanted pavlova with berries!! Can't say you'd get that service many places! Definitely will visit again if I'm passing!

Nice food and the atmosphere of the place was amazing. My wife had the salmon and I had her house Burger everything was delicious. I'm sorry, but I didn't get the name of the waitress, but she was excellent, I can only eat red meat that is very well done and she assured me that she would make sure that the cook understands my requirements and with top brands for both I got what I demanded. Thanks for a very pleasant meal.

We weren't waiting to be seated. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. Plus it was about average in terms of cost. I had the Green Machine Wrap with the soup of the day, which was vegetable and it contained vegetarian stock (as opposed to meat stock) so it was suitable for vegetarians. I liked the music that was playing also-a mix of 90s and 00s classics. The only thing is that we weren't asked if we had enjoyed our meal (which we did) Plus the soup bowl was chipped.
