What Jayde Zboncak doesn't like about Bob Evans:
It was the first time eating here for breakfast. My mom wanted to try something new for her birthday. The wait was about 20 minutes to be seated, which wasn't that bad. The reason for the average rating is because the eggs were cold and the steak was only subpar. I did very much like the French toast. So that is worth a try. I may consider returning to try a different menu item. View all feedback.
The restaurant is given a five-star rating based on the professionalism of the manager, Roy. However, the rest of the experience at the restaurant would only be rated as two stars, despite the excellent food. The staff hired by the company seem to lack experience and do not care about their positions, leading to a lack of hospitality. Despite receiving training, the staff struggle to provide good customer service. The hostess in particular was unfriendly and unaccommodating. While the food was good, the overall experience was lacking. It is recommended that customers seeking quality service wait until the restaurant improves its staffing issues. There are a few good servers and hosts, but they are rare to come by.

We decided to give this restaurant a try because it was nearby and we had never eaten there before. The staff was friendly and our wait was not long, only about 12 minutes. They did not have some of the appetizers listed on the menu, but they did offer a variety of soups. We opted to wait for our main dishes to arrive at the table. Our server was very pleasant and suggested the turkey dinner with stuffing, potatoes, and carrots. I chose to have the green beans as a side, which were delicious. I especially enjoyed the potatoes as they had a nice texture and were creamy. The turkey was very tender and flavorful, while the stuffing was extremely filling. The cranberry sauce on the side was tasty, although a bit too sweet for most tastes. I finished every bite, and I believe I could taste hints of apples in the sauce. The warm rolls served with butter were also a hit. My husband ordered the honey-fried chicken, which came with two crispy pieces. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy and satisfying, although I prefer a crispy top on my mac and cheese. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and would definitely consider coming back again.
I have visited this restaurant twice now and I plan on returning as often as possible while I am in the area for the winter. On both occasions, the food was outstanding! The service was also excellent. Allison was extremely friendly, answered all menu-related questions, and handled nearby customers who wanted to make numerous changes to their orders with grace. I wish Bob Evans Restaurant was in Wisconsin! My only critique is that they need a clearer system for seating when customers enter. It was a bit confusing when I visited and had to figure out where to sit on my own.
This Bob Evans was great! Staff was awesome and the food was really well prepared and delicious. The fresh made Banana nut bread takes me back to when I was a kid. Great atmosphere. We were stuffed when we left.
