What Chaya Abshire doesn't like about Casa Ole Restaurant:
My wife had the ambassador, it's her go to, she liked it, as usuall. But management decided to move to smaller chip baskets, I assume to save money, so u now spend your time waiting for server to bring multiple chip baskets, this was a dumb idea. I ordered the beef fajitas, they were inedible, tougher than beef jerky, no flavor, I changed order to nachos, they removed the fajitas from the bill. So in another move by... View all feedback.
Everything was good and is decent for the lunch menu. Lunch Beef Fajitas and children chicken tender and water for under 20 dollars. Remind Kellner to give you more than 2 tortillas. Free chips and salsa. Green and red.

I ordered the beef fajitas, they were inedible, tougher than beef jerky, no flavor, I changed order to nachos, they removed the fajitas from the bill. So in another move by management, they no longer make individual nachos, as they now just pile then throw some refried beans on some of the chips, and so now I will no longer get the fajitas or nachos. Wish temple had Lupe tortillas, as they know how to make great beef fajitas. I would recommend you eat elsewhere.
Nice service. Took a little longer than normal for the food to be delivered. Server was great, got all my modifications right. She was on top of refills. And the GREEN SAUCE!!!! She pre bussed and did a two bite check back. We will be returning.
Good authentic food. I would give it a more star rating if the wait staff was a little more punctual with refills and taking orders down properly. I am more disappointed that some of the menu items have been removed from their now smaller menu. Some of which you can still order if you get the right waiter or waitress to ask the cook or manager for a specific dish most of the time they don't know what you're asking for so some of the items such as the chicken Acapulco should be brought back to the menu but most of the staff don't know what that is oh, it has been my all-time favorite I order it every time I go there and here lately nobody knows what it is.
The decor is fabulous. Colorful and festive. The mural towards the left of the restaurant where the booths are is gorgeous. Music was hip and bouncy but not at all annoying. Service seems a little backed up but because of Covid, no one should complain about that. The Salsa they start you off with is fantastic and the queso is so yummy. We also tried the green avocado sauce (Not guacamole) I get eat that all day everyday We ordered the Nachos Ole and chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious and I absolutely found my new favorite Nachos (sorry Lil Tex). We even ordered queso and chips to go. Excellent service, food and atmosphere.
