Description

Roopa's Kitchen presents a blend of flavorful dishes, including a standout roasted chicken curry and a variety of vegan options, such as masalas and samosas. While some patrons appreciate the ambiance and the friendly service, others express disappointment over specific dishes like the overly spiced cheesecake and bland rice. Service experiences vary, with reports of rudeness from the owner tarnishing some visits. Overall, this cozy eatery in a strip mall offers generous portions and a diverse menu, making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine, albeit with room for improvement in consistency and service.

My only regret is not visiting Roopa's Kitchen sooner. It’s undoubtedly the best Indian food in the area. The dishes arrived piping hot, and even the spicy ones were packed with flavor. My wife and I will definitely be returning. The prices are fair for such outstanding food. We ordered one appetizer, two main courses, two types of bread, two desserts, and two drinks, and the bill was around $70. Portions were generous— we even had leftovers. *Note: My wife and I are accustomed to very spicy food, so be mindful of your tolerance. When we asked our waitress to make everything spicy, her eyes widened in surprise!

This restaurant offers incredible food that captivates with its rich flavors and high quality. The stunning décor and serene ambiance really elevate your dining experience. The courteous waitstaff further contribute to the overall positive vibe. Without a doubt, it's one of the best Indian restaurants in Texas. It’s hard to believe that such a hidden gem is located in Temple! I can't get enough of their green beans. Be sure to order the samosas when you visit Roopa's; they're a must-try!

The atmosphere was delightful. I relished the food, which included chicken curry, chicken 65, goat curry, fish tikka, and plain rice. South Indian cuisine often features coconuts in their curries, which is not something we're used to, but I found it quite enjoyable. Overall, everything was delicious, and the service was attentive. We had a wonderful dining experience.

The food at this restaurant is outstanding! The Indian dishes are incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The presentation is lovely, and the service is exceptional. I always seek memorable meals when I dine out, and this place certainly meets that expectation. Although the ambiance could be enhanced a bit, what truly counts is the quality of the food and service, and this restaurant truly excels in both aspects!

This restaurant doesn't make authentic Indian food at all. Chicken kebab was fried chicken with too much oil. Chicken tikka was made like chicken curry. Every food we ordered tasted bad and ruined my appetite. Will never be back and wont suggest anyone to go. Save your time and money!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
