What I like about this place at Sydney airport is that the food always tastes fresh, is served fast and the meals are generous. Word of warning if your not into spicy just mention it when ordering as some dishes can be spicy hot (for me anyway). I love the nasi gorang best! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wok On Air:
Although it was at the airport, I saw a staff female staff member rip a meal out from under an older lady with any explanation. When I asked the reason I was told she had the wrong meal except it would have been nice to tell her. Service standards need to improve. Rude! View all feedback.
It is nice option to have at an airport upon landing or while waiting to board a plane. Not overpriced for an airport eatery, and presented well. I especially like the presentation of two novelty drinks by the counter in glass jar with taps - so I tried the citrus lychee tea which is more appealing to a frequent traveller seeking healthier options to fizzy or high sugar bottled drinks or water in plastic bottles. The food is a bit on the oily side but that is just my awareness of preference for healthier option to minimise impacts of less home cooked meals as a result of frequent work travels. The level of oiliness is comparable to any popular eateries in Chinatown, and the yummy rating is too. So, it has my thumbs up as it puts a smile on my face during work trips and I would happily grab a meal solo before checking into my hotel, or a meal before boarding my plane if it is a long wait. Options on the menu are wide and varied. Table seatings are ample and convenient for those needing to catch up on some work on laptops while/before/after the tummy is pacified.
Highly recommend the omelette for breakfast. Fills you up, now I'm ready for a full day of traveling. Don't rely on getting something editable on your flight.
