Feedback
IHOP has garnered a mixed reputation recently, with experiences ranging from delightful to downright disappointing. Patrons appreciate the extensive menu, including ample vegetarian options, along with the friendly service, though many noted the establishment’s struggle with staffing. Long wait times for food and drinks were common complaints, as well as concerns over cleanliness, including unwashed dishes. Despite these issues, some visitors praised the fluffy pancakes and generous portions but suggested improvements in food quality and service efficiency. Overall, while IHOP could shine with its potential, consistency remains a pressing concern.
Needs new management. They were out of everything and they don’t tell you until they serve you without the missing item, flies inside, pancakes were so overcooked they were crunchy and hard to cut, and only two servers in the whole place that are too busy to even ask for anything. Our waitress was nice and patient but there’s only so much she can do when the restaurant isn’t being run. No thank you.
Two stars... why two stars? Arrived at about 13 minutes left before the clock struck 3 am with a craving for bacon and a gentle dining experience and received one, the other has been left to the imagination. Upon arrival I witnessed a 30-35 year old man with as many teeth as there stars in my review fully take down a grand slam meal without chewing a single time, who in my humble opinion dined and dashed. Within milliseconds of leaving said establishment he was mouthing his crack pipe, it looked like paulie D took a gas station dick pill and tried to fulfill every oral pleasure he's dreamt about since middle school sleep away camp. Once seated, enough time went by that I had counted every blood stain on the carpet before our server dragged himself over to take my order, but I was so distracted by his playboy belt and 47 chains hanging from his tatted jeans I forgot my order and just asked for a 22 inch Michelin tire. After I placed my order, I kindly requested that my food was repackaged to go, as the only thing on my mind was getting as far away from this establishment as possible, and called an Uber Ferrari to help settle my needs. Will not lie, the experience was about as fun as a sandpaper dildo but the food was pretty decent.
Went to iHop with some friends on a Saturday night. The place was almost empty. We were waiting there at the table ready to order for a really long time.. it was like they completely forgot about us. Finally they took our order, the food was fine. The only thing that really bothered me had to do with my order. I ordered the buffalo chicken melt. On the menu it said that the sandwich came with a side of ranch so I also asked if I could get a side of buffalo sauce to dip my fries into. Long story short I barely used the side of buffalo sauce and I was charged like $2.99 for it. If I would have known that I wouldn't have bothered ordering the side of buffalo sauce at all. Ok now comes the issue with the check... There were 4 of us eating and so we wanted to split the check so 2 were on one bill and the other 2 we wanted on the second bill. When we asked if she could split the check she said because there was no server it was impossible to split the check.. that makes absolutely no sense to me and the person waiting on us didn't even try to help!!Parking: The parking lot is pretty old so the spaces are very close to one another.. I was worried about order people hitting my car.
Had a waitress that was clearly new as she was terrible; would have felt better if she apologized or explicitly said that she?s new. First she never gave silverware until after our food came so it wasn?t hot by then. For a table of 7 she took orders at oneend making us raise our voice and was really weird by making us pass our own food and drinks down to eachother instead of doingit herself, how lazy and untrained. She also forgot to bring condiments and parts of the meals. Also when handing people drinksyou never place your dirty hands on the part where people drink yet she did that many times. Watch out for a white girl with redtinted hair and ears that stick out
Service was lacking. Took longer than expected to get coffee. We had no napkins or utensils available to stir creamer with. Food was delivered and we still had no utensils. We asked for some and were finally handed take out packs of plastic forks andknives. This is a sit down restaurant with ceramic cups and plates. The people on the other side of the aisle had metalutensils, but we were handed plastic. There was a small spill of milkshake on our table that the waitress completely ignoredand did nothing to either clean up or provide us anything to clean it up with. Condiments on the table (ketchup) were empty. Twotables on either side of us remained un-bussed throughout our entire visit with plates, trash and half eaten food spilling overand in our view. As far as I could see there were no bussers working on a Sunday at 11 AM. There might not have been anydishwashers either. This IHOP is right next to a college that was in session but yet can't find enough workers to do therequired basics of a smooth operating restaurant...turn the tables over! Bus and wash. Free your wait staff up to providefriendly service and rotate through tables. These are basics. Three stars are food quality which was actually very good.
