I have been eating here 3-4 times a year for the past 6 years. Have never been disappointed. The food and service is consistently good. Has a hole in the wall vibe, but nicer.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What William Tucker doesn't like about Hachi Ramen:
The restaurant has a nice vibe but the ramen left much to be desired. I got the regular tonkotsu ramen. The broth flavor was decent but it was not as rich as I was expecting. The noodles were quite thin and seemed to be the pre-packaged kind, definitely not house-made.The gyoza was decent, not much flavor. View all feedback.
I was never in a REAL-Ramen restaurant so my cousin brought me to his favorite. I didn't know what to order, but I like spicy food, so I ordered the spicy fog. And tried to roll up the octopus with fishflakes. Everything was good. My cousin tried the soup that wasn't even on the menu, but wanted to try. The boss came to talk to us because he was so excited about his creation and was excited that my cousin wanted to eat it. Everything was good. I loved it and can't wait to eat it again. Cousin loved him so much that he's the only one he'll order there for a while.
This place truly puts love into their food. They serve the largest homemade soup I've ever had, and it’s their specialty! The consistency in how perfectly the ingredients are balanced is impressive. I want to thank all the staff and chefs for their hard work. I will definitely be returning! If you're unsure about what to order, I highly recommend the Miso soup, or you can ask to add some spice to it. If it's your first time, this is an absolute must-try! Trust me, you won't want to go anywhere else for soup again.
Great atmosphere and customer service. I asked several questions and received good honest answers. Delicious food. Well done. I had the misery and it was so great. I'm coming back
Very fresh Japanese mix. Hot Ramen is the best if you want a little fire. Pot stickers are a winner. Absolutely come back.
Best ramen on the East valley. I always crave it on a rainy day. I've been here several time and It's so comforting every time. The broth and the noodles pair perfectly both in flavor and consistency. Each bite is a different experience then the last. I order it with a side of spicy sauce and it cuts through the soup to cleanse the pallet. For appetizers, the karangee or Takoyaki (or both) are delicious, but are served very hot.
