After attending a concert in Phoenix, my wife and I decided to search for a breakfast place in Tempe. After some research on Google, we chose Daily Jam. The atmosphere was vibrant and trendy, ideal for Arizona State students. We placed our order using a QR code on our phones, which limited our interaction with the server. I opted for the red velvet waffle and chicken tenders, while my wife chose the pancakes. We also got sides of bacon, toast, and mixed vegetables. The pancakes were enjoyable, though the bacon could have been crispier. The red velvet waffle was more of a fun novelty than anything particularly flavorful. The portions were generous, and there was plenty of hot honey and syrup to go around. The toast was pretty standard, but the applesauce dip was a delightful surprise. The mixed vegetables were well-prepared and had a nice texture. Despite the $50 bill, the food met our expectations for a college dining experience. The tables were clean, and complimentary water was offered, as is common in many places in Tempe. Overall, Daily Jam lived up to its reputation as a top breakfast/brunch spot in Tucson, earning a solid 5-star rating from us.
I recently enjoyed lunch with friends at this restaurant, and it was truly delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the ambiance was wonderful. They provide a diverse range of options for both breakfast and lunch, featuring healthy salads and hearty sandwiches served with fresh chips. You really can't go wrong with any choice, as the flavor combinations are outstanding. I highly recommend this spot!
This restaurant provides a fresh and contemporary dining experience in a clean, well-lit space. As you enter, you'll notice a separate coffee bar and a cozy seating area. The breakfast menu is reasonably priced, and orders are served promptly. However, while the meals are balanced, they lack a distinctive flavor. The Mimosa flight offers good value, though the quality of the Prosecco or Champagne isn't up to par. The White Peach Mimosa stands out with its well-balanced flavors. The staff is friendly, making it a place worth visiting to find a dish that meets your taste preferences.
The food quality at Daily Jam was excellent, from the incredibly fluffy pancakes to the well-balanced croque madame on sourdough. The drip coffee was also good. However, I’m giving a lower rating due to the overall service. The outdoor stationary seats were rusted over, and the ordering app repeatedly rejected my payment before finally going through. It took over 20 minutes for the food to arrive, only after I inquired about it. When the food finally came, I asked about my iced latte and was told it was with the bar, which was a bit backed up. It arrived five minutes later. Prices felt too high, with a small cup of drip coffee costing $3.25. Additionally, there was excessive plastic use everywhere—from the portable cups (even for dine-in customers) to the straws and water dispenser cups.
One of our favorite brunch spots in Tempe! Their gluten-free waffles are absolutely delicious. It’s conveniently located right across from Tempe’s A Mountain, making it an ideal stop after a hike. Our top picks include the mimosas, red velvet chicken waffles, chilaquiles, and the loaded omelette.
