Chen's Noodle House - Tempe

I wasn't impressed. The chili sauce was tasty, but the chicken was challenging to eat because it still had most of the bone marrow in it. What really prompted me to write this review, though, was the rice noodles. They were quite unappetizing, with a slimy and somewhat bloated texture, as if they hadn't been properly cooked after soaking.

Chongqing Spicy Noodle offered an authentic and delicious taste! However, I don't think it was worth the $13 due to the limited amount of ground meat and vegetables included. They substituted rice for the egg noodles I requested. The Jingling Salty Duck had a decent flavor, but I wouldn't order it again, even though the portion size was generous. The staff was nice and friendly.

The food was quite bland and seemed poorly prepared. The egg on my combo was old, and I couldn't taste the flavors of the dish at all. The soup served with the combo was lacking in ingredients. I ordered a chicken combo plate for $15, but I found actual cartilage and bones in it.

This is undoubtedly the best Chinese food I've discovered in the Tempe area. Everything was fantastic! We tried the soup dumplings, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef, and all of it was delicious. The food was served incredibly quickly, and the staff were so friendly!

I ordered several appetizers through DoorDash, and they were all excellent! I highly recommend the soup dumplings!
