I just love the apple cake in the original Pancake House. I was in many of the surrounding countries. Chicago, Orange County California, Seattle even the original house in Portland, Oregon. Every time the quality and consistency of this wonderful pancake is the reason why I always come to enjoy this special treat. Yes You can order regular breakfast items, but if you have never had the apple cake, you must try this!... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Original Pancake House:
Waiting to sit was fast. The hostess and waitress were really nice. The food was just bad. Pancakes were dry and small without taste. The sausage connections were garbage and cold. Eggs were normal. Not ORDER SAUSAGE LINKS. Total- not coming back. ty The End. View all feedback.
It's been years since I last dined here! First off, I have to mention how incredible the coffee is—wow! Upon our arrival, we had a short wait of just 20 minutes, but we were seated in only 15. We placed our orders, and our food was served promptly! While the apple pancake does take a bit longer to prepare, we were fortunate that one was available due to a mix-up at another table. I tried this apple pancake, loaded with cinnamon and apples, and it was absolutely delicious! We received wonderful service and enjoyed fantastic food. Thank you!
We didn't have to wait long for a table, and our food arrived surprisingly quickly—just 5 to 10 minutes after we placed our order. The potato pancakes and buttermilk pancakes were, as always, delicious. Our server, Paola, was very friendly!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! When I sat down, I was nearly overwhelmed by the variety of delicious dishes available. There truly is something for everyone. Honestly, I was a bit taken aback by the prices; they seemed a bit high to me at first. However, I soon realized the level of care and attention to detail that went into our meal, which made it clear that the quality justifies the cost. They excel at what they do and provide generous portions. That said, I still believe they might be slightly overcharging for certain extras, like adding fruit to pancakes or chocolate chips. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to out-of-town visitors; it's a classic breakfast destination with a wide range of options for all to enjoy!
The wait to be seated was quick, and both the hostess and waitress were very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. The pancakes were dry, small, and lacking in flavor. The sausage links were cold and unsatisfactory. The eggs were average. I recommend avoiding the sausage links. Overall, I won't be returning. Thank you. The End.
Waiting for a table didn't take long. Our food came out pretty quick, maybe 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered. Potato pancakes and buttermilk pancakes ALWAYS delicious?. Our server, Paola was very nice!
