Recommend by several of the local tastings room servers. Was a refreshing place, loved the meatballs. Also has steak and Gorgonzola pizza. Small place, friendly staff. View all feedback.
What Joseph Battaglia doesn't like about The Goat And Vine:
Very busy restaurant, but I 'm not sure why. Prices seemed high compared to the overall product. Ceasar salad was sloppy with strips of wilted dark leaves of Romaine lettuce, and the croutons were simply plain, stale bread cubes. The waiter was friendly but sloppy looking, as if he had been just mopping up the kitchen. The pizza was from two worlds; the crust was thin and with an excellent bite, but where was the sau... The restaurant was bright and cheery. The pizza was cheesy, and the toppings were delicious. The crust was crispy and chewy on the inside. We would like a spicier fare for a cocktail, but we were fine with the alternative.
Finally, a good meal on our vacation! We thought we were destin to keep writing low reviews, but The Goat and Vine was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and made the perfect recommendations. Our pizza was delicious. Definitely would eat here again.
This place is perfect for lunch. I really love the sangria. The way stuff is very friendly and nice. It's a great way to start your trip. It's a farm to table restaurant, and it's totally worth visiting. You might want to try and make a reservation first. The bathrooms are actually around the corner that was the only weird thing. Love the hummus platter portions are insane!!!
Came with a few friends, from a recommendation of another friend. This place did not disappoint. I heard they have an extensive seating policy and no longer do outdoor seating. (Take this off my dog friendly places). BRB yes, just went on their website and read about it, blah blah blah. Nonetheless, we were a party of 8 and had no trouble calling the desk and getting a seat around our requested time. The food was absolutely delicious! I love coming with a larger party so I am able to taste more food! Just a note 1 pie and a salad or appetizer can feed 2 hungry patrons. For our party of 8 we ordered; Goat and Vine Salad Cesar Salad The Goat Garden Pizza The Favorite Pizza Hatch Chili Honey Chicken Pizza – which was what we originally ordered but instead served – Jalapeno Lime Carnitas, didn’t realized this till the end of the meal LOL Everything was sooo good but hands down the Carnitas pizza was bussin!
We visited here while on a group trip for our friends' wedding in Temecula, and this was a PERFECT stop to add to our day in old town Temecula. It was like finding a slice of Houston food ambiance. The vibe itself is perfect. A bright space with the coolest interior, a lovely ambiance, and a large restaurant with just the right amount of tables and high tops. A group of 6 of us sat at the bar and loved the service we got. Very attentive, friendly, and some odd the BEST SPICY **** MARYS I've ever tasted... and I've had a LOT of bloodys! They have a lovely menu with plenty of options for all appetites. You can literally smell the pizza dough down the street. Word on the street is the dough is prepared in house in the wee wee morning. It's the modern Italian flare that makes a good spot like this thrive. We ended up grabbing some breadsticks at the bar and taking home 4 pieces. If you're a pizza fan, it's a MUST! I ate too much pizza because I couldn't stop The steak and Gorgonzola was one of my faves. Would definitely recommend this spot if visiting Temecula!
