A few days ago, I decided to go out for some Poké at Poki Poki on Ynez. On top of a bed of spring salad, I had salmon, ahi, ginger, onions, green onions, seaweed, salad, cucumber, edamame, masago and seaweed..I think that's it been awhile and it was such a treat everything was fresh, the bowl was a great portion for a large size and the employees there were incredibly friendly, fast and helpful.
The staff were very friendly, and the ingredients seemed fresh, but the sauces were not very flavorful. I also prefer to have all of the ingredients tossed with the sauces, rather than having distinct piles/sections for each ingredient. It is fine, but I have enjoyed Poki better at other restaurants.
Love it! My two go place when hungry and don't want to cook.
The staff were very friendly, and the ingredients appeared to be fresh, but the sauces lacked strong flavor. I also prefer when all the ingredients are mixed together with the sauces instead of having them arranged in separate piles. It was decent overall, but I have had better poke experiences at other restaurants.
First and foremost, the customer service here is excellent. I used to really enjoy visiting this restaurant, but lately, the food hasn’t been as satisfying. They seem to put very little sauce on the dishes, and it’s even less if you order two. I hope they address this issue soon.
