Like any new venture, it required some adjustments – reminiscent of the early days of Disneyland on July 17, 1955, when things weren’t quite perfect. The Temecula location was specially adapted for the space, leading to a slightly unique layout, but Ray has managed to operate this place like a well-oiled machine, just a month after opening. The staff is exceptionally friendly, greeting each customer with a warm, "Welcome to Fatburger," as they walk through the door – it’s not just the cashiers, but everyone behind the counter. I had the pleasure of dining there and observed the bustling atmosphere for about an hour. It was truly impressive to see how well the team handled the lunch rush and the growing line of customers.

The Thousand Island contributed a creamy texture that enhanced the burger's juiciness. However, the grilled onions could be more pronounced in flavor; a touch of salt while grilling might elevate them. It's possible that the relish may have overshadowed the onions as well. For this burger, I would give a rating of 4.5/5. As for the Chili Cheese Fries, they make for a great side to share. The chili is thick and hearty, coating the fries exceptionally well, and it boasts a rich chili powder flavor. It comes topped with a generous amount of cheese, while the Fat Fries (steak fries) function like little spoons, making it easy to scoop up the chili and cheese without creating too much mess. I would suggest that the fries could be cooked a bit crispier to better withstand the chili. I’d rate the Chili Cheese Fries a 4/5.

For over 60 years, Fatburger has been delighting customers with its signature offerings. At Fatburger, "Fat" means "Big." They offer a variety of sizes, from the Small, which weighs 2.5 ounces, to the XXXL, a hefty 1.5 pounds of fresh ground beef. Diners can even have their photo taken on a wall dedicated to those who take on this massive challenge.
