Blends Coffee Wine - Temecula
Blends Coffee Wine
Description
Blends is a bright, convenient coffee-and-wine bar by the casino entrance, serving an extensive espresso menu, specialty lattes (white mocha, chai), pastries, sandwiches and desserts. Seating includes couches and tables with plenty of outlets, making it a handy stop for guests, casino-goers and remote workers. Service is typically quick and friendly, but prices are high and espresso freshness and food consistency can be hit‑or‑miss. Ambient casino music means it’s not the quietest spot.

I always stop for coffee when I'm at Pechanga, and usually, everything is great. However, during my last visit, I noticed that they were pulling espresso shots in advance and leaving them on the bar until someone placed an order. I asked for fresh espresso shots instead of the old ones, and the barista reacted angrily. They initially tried to convince me that the shots were freshly made. Although the barista eventually admitted she had made them before I arrived, she insisted they were still good. Then the manager explained that there’s a 3-5 minute rule, after which they discard the shots. So, if you're looking for fresh espresso here, you might be disappointed. They also avoided making eye contact with me or thanking me after I ordered my drink with fresh shots, handing it over while looking away.
This place offers a variety of delicious desserts, along with drinks, sandwiches, and salads. I had the chance to sample the mango pudding and tres leches, both beautifully presented and just the right portion to satisfy my sweet cravings. Although there was a line since it was Saturday and a concert had just ended, the wait wasn't too long. The seating area is spacious, and the location is convenient, situated right by the casino and near the hotel rooms.
Overall, I would say they are just average. It's really convenient to grab a drink when you arrive at the casino or before you head out. You can use Easy Dine or club dollars to help with the high prices, which is a plus. There's nothing extraordinary about it, but it serves its purpose. I probably wouldn’t buy anything unless I had some points to use.
Stopped in for coffee before our show. It's a nice little coffee shop. Great seating options (both couches and tables) with big open space. I'd imagine with the sun is shining bright, there'd be great natural life. While it's not lively inside, you can hear the music playing from the casino so it's not going to be the quietest if that's what you're looking for.Coffee here is just average. Would probably only come back if I really needed it, and even then wouldn't be my first choice. Super overpriced I paid $9 for a latte that didn't even have to best flavor. But they have the caffeine if you need to get the job done.It says that it's a coffee and wine bar, and while I didn't ask, it doesn't say anywhere on the menu anything about wine. Not sure if it's a separate menu.Staff were friendly. As I said, this is the place to go if you're in the need for caffeine.
Pricey... but... the Chai latte is delicious!!!! It can challenging to find a place that makes good Chai- this is one of the good ones! The line is usually long because they are the only convenient coffee/tea/snack shop available. The sandwiches are yummy- chicken caprice. The macarons are good too. Give it a try!!
