Bastards Canteen - Temecula
Bastards Canteen
Description
Nestled in a vibrant locale, this restaurant attracts patrons with its lively atmosphere and spirited décor. Diners rave about the delicious food, particularly the loaded tater tots and bison burgers, complemented by a creative drink menu featuring unique cocktails. However, noise levels can be overwhelming, making conversation difficult. While service is generally commendable, with attentive staff and a welcoming manager, some guests have experienced longer wait times. Overall, this spot promises a fun outing, perfect for celebrations or casual evenings with live music and karaoke, though minor issues like drink quality and pricing have been noted. A return visit seems likely for many.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Joshua, our server, was fantastic and Melissa, the manager, checked on us several times to ensure everything was perfect. The drinks and food were excellent, we can't wait to return. 10/10.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic! Trust me, vodka is a must for such a wonderful occasion!
I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant and it certainly lived up to the hype. I started with a corn appetizer, which was delicious but I wished there was more of it. The atmosphere was fantastic and the live music added a nice touch. The crab roll and sweet potato fries were excellent, the fries practically melted in your mouth. The tri-tip sandwich was a bit tough to chew, but still flavorful. Overall, a great spot to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a drink while listening to live music. I will definitely be back to support this veteran-owned business.
Good food. I got the Hot Chicken sandwich. Was seasoned well. Fried pickles were good with the kind of smoky flavored ranch dip they came with. Jalapeño and bacon mac and cheese was delectable. Live cover band played music. I must admit, sitting right bythe stage made conversations very hard to engage in. Overall great experience and would definitely go back.
Came here with friends to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday night, the place was half full and although our servers were nice they seemed like they were being pulled in too many directions. Burgers were decent but not worth the 24 dollars I paid for,bun was soaked through to the bottom and the fries were unsalted. I also ordered a coke to drink and I got one refill, bothtimes the soda was flat and they ran out of diet syrup so my wife couldn't have a drink of diet coke, but they still tried tocharge us for it at the end of the night. For the price of entry, this place isn't worth it. I'm giving it two stars becausethere are things about this place that have a lot of potential, it could be something great. But as of right now, I wouldn'trecommend it to anyone.
